Eva Bellas
I grew up in a family of artists, travelers, eccentrics and foodies. During my childhood there was great variety and quality of food; a healthy, vegetarian, and macrobiotic diet was present from an early age. I grew up with the notion that cooking is an act of love and creativity, which I practice today in an instinctive and passionate way.
What I cook is the creative expression of what I’ve learned from the places I’ve been, from the people I’ve met, from my spiritual journey, and from my own relationship with Life. Conscious, fresh, light food, rich in flavors, colors, textures to enjoy with all the senses - here the keywords are Health and Pleasure.
I see food as one of the fundamental pillars of health, and this awareness is always present in my work. I do not believe in a universal diet, but rather that everyone can "listen" to their body to know what is the right Medicine.
In the same way, I believe in the power of fasting and spiritual diets, which have been present in various cultures since the beginning of time as a form of healing and connection with the Holy, the Divine.
After several personal experiences over the years I'm now supporting the healing process of others through diets or fasting, in retreats and individual accompaniment.
